There are some history and science references in the movie, which I think is really good for children to see. Not enough to make the movie boring though, and definitely not enough for anyone to consider it an educational movie. The movie is also full of puns, which just made me think of that Spongebob episode...
The puns in the movie weren't horrible, but there were enough of them that I rolled my eyes a few times at the end. The graphics were pretty good, not up to Pixar standards, but pretty close. The character that annoyed me the most was Penny. She obviously needed to start out a brat to make the movie plot happen, but they could've toned it down way before they did. Overall, I would recommend seeing this movie. It has a lot of humor and the story doesn't drag along too much.
I LOVED Peabody and Sherman Cartoons! Back when Nickelodeon was playing Rocky and Bullwinkle reruns (a show I am still obsessed with!) I would watch these and Fractured Fairytales, and Roger Ramjet and George of the Jungle on Cartoon Network.
ReplyDeleteSorry...I'm just really glad to read it's enjoyable! :D
