Monday Mix Up #13

Happy Monday everyone! Today's list in dedicated to Childish Gambino, one of my favorite rappers ever. His new album, Because the Internet, drops tomorrow and in celebration, I am sharing my favorite CG videos with you. I'm sure I've posted some of these before, but they're awesome enough to be seen again :)

4) Freaks and Geeks. My second pretty much favorite song by him.

Monday Mix Up #7

Maybe a theme to these Monday Mix Ups will make them easier to do? We shall see. This week's theme is.... Fall!!! I don't get leaves that change color where I live, and its still like 80something degrees every day. So this is a (mostly) wishful thinking fall list.

Childish Gambino- Lights Turned On

1) The picture is pretty fall leaves. 2) I love this song. Who am I kidding? I love every song on the EP. He's the best. 3) I listened to EP a lot during the rainy months last year. It made driving to school in that mess more tolerable. 

I want leaves like this. Someday I would like to visit the East Coast during Fall, so I can see something like this in real life.

Yeah, pretty much none of these things apply to Fall here (except Thanksgiving, pumpkin carving and yummy smelling candles), but a girl can dream. Image from weheartit.

Monday Mix Up #6

Its baaaack. Or is it? This week's Monday Mix Up is a small list of videos that I currently love.

*Hashtag with Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake. I love these guys. Love.

*Kid Ink ft Chris Brown- Show Me. This is an audio only video. I like this song. And I like Chris Brown as a performer. Sorry.

*Miley Cyrus- Wrecking Ball. Say what you will about her as a person, but I like the song. And, maybe shes acting out because her relationship ended?

*Childish Gambino- Freaks and Geeks. This video is a few years old, but this song right here is the reason why I love him as a rapper. I like to say that he is a rapper for intelligent people. The references in his songs are amazing.

*Eminem- Berzerk. He became big when I was in high school, and this song reminds of his stuff from back then. I've been a fan of pretty much all his stuff though. He has a lot of talent.

*The best pick up line from Raphael De La Ghetto aka Jazz on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. This is kind of a running joke in my house (and I couldn't have all my videos be music videos lol).
